While we do not directly provide yacht shipping services across the ocean, we are happy to pair you up with a reputable intercontinental yacht-shipping company to handle your needs in regions outside of our own service area. At this time, we are equipped to directly ship yachts by land only.

Shipping a Yacht across the Country

Do you need to move your boat from Florida, Virginia Beach, the Jersey Shore, or another East Coast port to the West Coast? Transporting the yacht by land may be the best option. At Riley, we’re die-hard landlubbers, and we’re happy to carry a seaworthy vessel over dry roads! As when we ship cars, we provide a high level of customer service and attention to detail with our seafaring customers. Buying a New Yacht

Have you just purchased a yacht for the first time? Looking at different models? Congratulations! Entering the exciting world of yacht ownership is fun. But after you buy your yacht, you soon discover the plethora of responsibilities that go along with it, like maintenance and fuel. While we can’t provide everything you need, we can get your yacht moved across the country to its next port. If you bought your yacht from a shipyard that is far away from where you plan to sail it, give us a call to discuss how we can help you get your yacht into the water and start enjoying it.

We do not provide float-on, float-off transportation service—this is the method that large ships use to convey groups of yachts across the ocean. Our drivers also do not provide direct assistance pulling boats out of the water or lowering it into the water. However, if you need a referral for this type of service, give us a call and we’ll do what we can to help. We’ll need you to get your boat on land so that our vehicle transportation equipment can load and secure it safely. Depending on the accessibility of the roads leading up to the dock, you may need to have your yacht hauled out to a more open area in order to safely load it for long-term shipping—but don’t worry. We will arrange all of those details with you in advance.
